River View preschool is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year! Children must be 3 prior to attending a preschool class. All of our classrooms are licensed by the Ohio Department of Children and Youth and offer a curriculum that supports the Early Learning and Development Standards.

Community Preschool- Full day five days a week- The community preschool class will serve students between the ages of three and five years old and provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum to help with pre-math and pre-literacy skills, as well as communication and socialization skills.
Preschool Partner - In our preschool special education classrooms- Preschool partners serve as typical peer role models for students receiving special education services. Effective partners demonstrate strong communication and social skills. There are two day spots and four day spots available in this class. This class is not in session on Wednesdays.
Ohio Preschool Program (formerly Early Childhood Education) – Income based eligibility - To qualify for this class the student must be 3 years old prior to starting and can NOT be 5 years old as of August 19th. This is the Kindergarten eligibility date for River View Local Schools. The tuition rates for the ECE class are on a sliding scale based on household income. Resident students will be placed first in this class.
